Our Founding Belief

Outdoor Spaces Should Feel Just as Considered as the Homes They Surround

That single belief is the foundation of every Eastern North Carolina Designs project. Most homeowners spend months selecting the cabinetry, lighting, and flooring inside their home — then hand the yard to whichever landscaper shows up first with a rake and a rough estimate. We don't build that way. We believe the patio, the kitchen, the fire feature, and the garden deserve the same intentional design, the same craftsmanship, and the same long-term thinking as the architecture they extend from.

That is why we exist. Not to mow, not to trim, not to "do yards." To curate outdoor experiences — rooms without walls, engineered with the same discipline a good architect applies to a floor plan, and rendered in 3D before a single shovel hits the ground.

Our Story

A Four Oaks Firm With a Coastal North Carolina Reach

Eastern North Carolina Designs LLC was founded in 2020 as a North Carolina limited liability company headquartered at 8722 NC Highway 210 in Four Oaks. That address is deliberate. NC 210 runs from Johnston County east through Hampstead and Surf City to the Atlantic, which means we sit at a unique crossroads — able to serve inland estates around Smithfield one day and oceanfront homes in Carolina Beach the next without feeling stretched thin.

We set out to solve a frustration we kept hearing from high-end homeowners: the best design-build firms didn't reach this corridor, and the companies that did reach it weren't design-build. Landscapers handed off to hardscape crews. Hardscape crews handed off to drainage subs. Drainage subs pointed at the landscaper when something settled. ENC Designs exists to end that hand-off — a single accountable team carrying every project from the first conversation to the final walk-through.

Today we serve Wilmington, Smithfield, Carolina Beach, Surf City, Hampstead, Wallace, and Leland, with every project rendered in immersive 3D before construction begins.
